 New Delhi: The central government of India is giving a chance to the people, especially the youth, to win Rs 2 lakh.  You have to take part in a competition to win this prize money.  The fact is that the government has organized this competition to make people aware about the ill effects of tobacco.  Let me tell you that the government always organizes such competitions.

 If you like making short films, then you can make on World No-Tobacco Day 2021 about the ill effects of tobacco.  This short film should be a minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of 60 seconds.

 These people can participate in the competition

 Apart from employees of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and their relatives, Indian citizens above 18 years of age (born on or before May 31, 2003) can participate in this competition.

 World No Tobacco Day

 World No Tobacco Day is celebrated on May 21 every year. This year's theme is "Get Ready for Plain Packaging".  The purpose behind using plain tobacco packaging is to reduce the attractiveness of its products as well as to ban misleading packaging and labeling.  This will also help to destroy tobacco advertising and its promotion.  In addition, health warning graphics will also be used in plain paper packaging.

 The purpose of this day is to raise awareness among the people about the ill effects and effects of tobacco and to encourage individuals to take seriously the seriousness of its bad habits.

 Health is known for the dangers associated with tobacco. However, young people use tobacco extensively with their peers due to pressure or out of curiosity. Tobacco is consumed in many forms such as cigarettes, beedi, gutkha and hookah. Tobacco contains nicotine.  There is a very intoxicating substance called nicotine. It gives a lot of pleasure for a while but in the long run it affects your heart, lungs, stomach as well as your nerves.

 Over a period of time, a person becomes physically and emotionally addicted to nicotine and this leads to many serious health effects.

 Adverse effects of tobacco:
 Onset of sore throat with cough
 Smell from breath and smell from clothes

 Skin wrinkles

 Teeth turning yellow


 Serious health problems such as:

 Heart disease

 Inflammation of the trachea

 Pneumonia

 Shock

 Many types of cancer - Even if you do not smoke, exposure to it can lead to many types of cancer, such as lung, throat, stomach and bladder cancers. This condition is called passive smoking.  Passive smoking causes many health problems. Thus, it is just as harmful as the form of active smoking.

 Quitting tobacco is a very difficult thing. Nicotine is a strong toxic addiction in it. However, you should have the patience as well as the will to get rid of this addiction by sticking to the right therapies and approaches. It does not stop in a day.  Happens.

You can also register yourself by going to http://www.nhp.gov.in/quit-tobacco with your mobile number and e-mail id  Then the SMS process will start in two ways, in which the registered user will be sent an SMS of QUITNOW (leave now) for welcome, immediately the user will be allotted 5616115 by the National Notification Center.  The main purpose of this scheme is to send a mail to "quittobacco@gov.in" as well as to inform a wide range of people about the effects of tobacco use at regular intervals.
