 Working news for car drivers
From April, it will be mandatory to provide airbags in the passenger side along with the driver in every vehicle.
The government has taken this decision keeping in mind the safety of people traveling in cars
Let me tell you, from April 1, it will be mandatory to provide airbags to the driver as well as the passenger side in every vehicle.  The Ministry of Roads and Transport sent a proposal to the Ministry of Law to Anelai which has been approved.  The government has taken this decision keeping in mind the safety of people traveling in cars.

According to media reports, a notification will be issued in the coming days.  That is, two front airbags will be mandatory in cars built on or after April 1, 2021.  According to the notification, the new rule will be applicable for existing models from August 31.  The original proposed deadline was June 2021.  Which has been increased.  In December last year, the government sought advice on a proposal to make airbags mandatory for front passengers in all cars from next year.

Is necessary for the safety of the passenger

In the last few years, the Government of India has been working towards making cars safer.  So now the car is provided with more safety features than before which is very important for the safety of the passengers along with the driver of the car.  So the government is pushing for that.  Auto companies are adding these features to cars in line with government guidelines.

Currently this rule is only for drivers

The current rule only makes airbags mandatory for the driver's seat in the car.  Airbags are not required for a seated passenger.  Due to which there is a fear of serious injury and death in the accident.
