S.S.C. Regarding the examination of the evaluation system of the schools which scored 20 out of 20 marks in the examination.

  Subject: - S.S.C.  Regarding the examination of the evaluation system of the schools which scored 20 out of 20 marks in the examination.  

         Hon'ble Mr. Jayabharat Co on the above subject that school holistic assessment was implemented from the year 2011-2012 and based on the achievements achieved by the student during the year 30 marks internal assessment from school level to show it in the board marksheet started from March 2013 examination.  As you may be aware, from the academic year 2019-2020, due to the change in the examination system, it has been decided to show 20 marks of internal assessment in the marksheet given by the board, how to do internal assessment by schools, how many criteria are planned, etc.  Detailed instructions are given from 2019 MUMSHAB / RESEARCH / 2O19 / 2OPO and MUMSHAB / RESEARCH / 2018 / 3961-4000 Dt.  - 50 marks for six and 100 marks for Std-10, first test, second test and five marks in the first and second session in The 9th and 10th - five marks  And based on the performance in other activities, the evaluation work has to be done within the limit of five marks. With the change in the examination system of Std.  Circulars were sent to the Education Officers informing the principals of the schools and the Board in the periodical Secondary Education and Examination before the commencement of the session.  In which all the registered secondary schools of Gujarat have been informed about the examination method of the required subjects of group-10 of Dhauran-10 from Moumshab / Research / 2019/2 ozo of Dt.-19/08/2019 in which, in one lotus work * Group-2  In the required subjects, according to the previous question paper format, there will be 100 marks in the theoretical examination and 50 marks in the practical examination.  The school level will have to take the first examination of 100 marks, second examination, prelim and annual examination.  The school will have to send the marks of the annual examination of 100 marks taken at the school level to Baud.  Which will be converted into 80 marks by the board.  The division of 50 marks of internal assessment will be as follows, 05 marks first examination 05 marks second examination 05 marks notebook submission (homework / class work) 05 marks experimental work / project work which will have to be sent to Baud.  Regarding the change in the examination system of Std-9 to 12, it has been mentioned in the letter of MUMSHAB / SHONDHAN / 2018 / 3961-4000 dated: 24/09/2 o1B, which is as per (4)  The evaluation will be replaced by 20 marks of internal evaluation. 
        Based on the marks * In the optional subjects of group-2, according to the previous question paper format, there will be 50 marks of theoretical examination and 50 marks will be of practical examination.  The school level will have to take the first examination of 100 marks, second examination, prelim and annual examination.  The school will have to send the marks of the annual examination of 100 marks taken at the school level to the board.  Which will be converted into 80 marks by the board.  The division of 20 marks of internal assessment will be as follows.  05 Marks First Exam 05 Marks Second Exam 05 Marks Notebook Submission (Homework / Classwork) 05 Marks Experimental Work / Project Work to be sent to the Board.  > Regarding the change in the examination system of Std-9 to 12, it has been mentioned in the letter dated -24 / 09/2018.  According to which (4) from the academic year 2019-20 in Std-10 there will be 20 marks of internal assessment instead of school comprehensive assessment.  In which 05 marks based on the marks obtained in the first test 05 marks obtained in the second test 05 marks Notebook submission 05 marks Subject enrichment activity (speaking and listening test in languages, experimental work in science as well as project work in other subjects.)  Does not systematically study and implement instructions.  The purpose of this circular regarding internal assessment is to organize at the school level where the student is assessed on a daily basis during school studies and remedial education is arranged where necessary.  During the academic year 2019-2020, the regular students of the school had to organize internal activities and examinations of 20 marks at the school level throughout the year and the marks obtained in them had to be uploaded on the board's website in front of the student's name.  Considering the result of the board for March 2020, the following errors have been found in the internal evaluation in terms of grading.  > Looking at the results of March 2020, some schools have wrongly given full marks to the students in the school evaluation.  > Some schools have given 20 marks out of 20 in all subjects to regular 20 regular students and comparing the result of the board of such students only 06 students are found to have passed without grading.  Thus, it is clear that those schools have done wrong internal assessment.
       It is stated in the circular regarding the internal test of the Board of Secondary Education that, 5% marks out of the marks obtained in the first / second examination while 5 marks out of notebooks, workshops etc. are to be evaluated internally out of 20 marks.  Those schools have given 20 marks out of 20 to all the students. All the students of that school can get marks accordingly only if they have 100 marks out of 100 or 50 marks out of 50 in the first / second examination and 100 percent performance in other activities.  Without proper assessment, parents and students are at a disadvantage to assessment-related and teaching techniques - there is a big question mark (?) Against the assessment technique.  That in this way giving full marks to the students is an injustice to the students of other schools than working hard all the year round.  - School evaluation is very important.  Activities, techniques, workshops, practical year, first, second prelim examinations running from the beginning of the year to the end of the year provide an opportunity for the students to improve their level.  Unrealistic assessments become a barrier to student learning and keep parents informed of the true situation.  - In the subject of language, high linguistic skills are to be developed through techniques like spelling, syntax, dialogue, writing, grammar but giving full marks to children in some schools is harming their careers.  That there are some schools which have given 20 marks out of 20 in all the subjects to their students and only 50% of the students have been able to get achievement marks.  Some students have Needs Improvement in view of that result but those students have got 20 out of 20 internal marks so that - the evaluation method of those schools has been found to be questionable.  - Students also have to study the values, skills and attitudes at the school level which the school has to take special note of but such schools which raise the bar in the true, good teaching method through the wrong evaluation method of the students.  Thus, such negligence regarding internal assessment at school level can be dangerous and disruptive for future education society.
